By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

PetrolDiesel.co.uk is a free, independent fuel comparison and station-finding service. It organises public Fuel Finder information and adds comparison tools, quality labels, calculated averages, rankings, distance and station context.

The service is not part of the UK Government, the Fuel Finder service, a fuel retailer or a forecourt operator. A link, listing or comparison does not mean we endorse a particular forecourt or have a commercial relationship with it.

Prices and forecourt details can change between a source report, our latest refresh and your arrival. A displayed amount is information, not a quote or promise that a retailer will sell fuel at that price.

• Check the price and fuel grade shown on the pump before filling.
• Use the individual reported time and quality label when judging freshness.
• Allow for your actual journey, vehicle, traffic, fuel use and opening hours when comparing options.
• Do not use the website while driving. Stop safely before interacting with a device.

Calculated averages, rankings, trends and savings are estimates built from the qualifying information available to us. They are not financial, motoring or navigation advice and may not represent every forecourt.

You may use PetrolDiesel.co.uk for lawful personal or internal business research. You must not:

• interfere with, overload, probe, bypass or attempt to defeat the website or its security;
• submit malicious code, knowingly false reports, abusive content or another person’s personal information;
• use automated access at a rate or in a way that harms availability or avoids stated controls;
• misrepresent PetrolDiesel content as your own, as official government information or as a retailer’s guaranteed price;
• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or our legal rights.

PetrolDiesel branding, original writing, design, software, calculations and presentation are owned by or licensed to Dev The Dan Ltd. You may view and use them for personal purposes and make limited quotations permitted by law with clear attribution.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license, scrape into a competing publication or commercially exploit our original content without written permission. These restrictions do not claim ownership of public sector information or limit rights granted by its licence.

Fuel Finder public sector information is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The licence and source attribution shown in our footer apply to that source material.

The website may link to maps, directions, government information, forecourt websites and other third-party services. Their content, availability, privacy practices and terms are controlled by their operators. Check the destination before sharing information or relying on it.

We aim to keep the service useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may correct, suspend, remove or change features, pages and data methods where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, accuracy or product improvement.

We may update these terms. The publication date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply from their stated date.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

If we fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, was not caused by our breach, or results from relying on a price without checking it at the forecourt.

PetrolDiesel is provided free for information and personal decision support. We are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or interruption arising from consumer use of the site.

These terms and any non-contractual dispute relating to the website are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although consumers may retain mandatory rights to bring a claim in another part of the UK where applicable.
