Regional price map

Where average fuel prices are lowest

The map ranks regions by current average petrol price and keeps all four fuel averages in the surrounding cards. The fuel-specific leaderboards show the top three for every grade.

Town leaderboards

Cheapest UK towns by reported pump price

Towns qualify only when at least two forecourts have current rankable prices. Each value is the lowest reported price in that town, not the town average.

Read the rankings

Three checks before choosing a cheaper fill-up

A low number is useful evidence, but the best decision still depends on the fuel, the comparison and the journey.

  1. Compare the same fuel

Petrol is ranked against petrol, and diesel against diesel. Premium grades have their own rankings.

  2. Separate averages from minimums

Region tables use average prices. Town tables use the lowest qualifying current price reported in each town.

  3. Check the real journey

Open the town page for individual forecourts, then weigh any pump saving against distance and convenience.
